The DART system is used to detect tsunamis. What role do satellites play in the DART system? Please help and explain, I don't understand.

Satellites are used with radio waves that detect tsunamis from space. The satellite is like the eye in the sky for the wold because it sees just about everything that happens on the earth’s surface
