What is the discriminant of this equation?
3x2 + 8x = 0

If the 2 is an exponent, it should be marked as such.
“3x2” means 3x⋅2
“3x^2” means 3x²

3x²+8x = 0
Discriminant = 8²-4(3)(0) = 64
