Psychology is a wide-ranging field. There are many different disciplines that all require understanding the underlying bio-psycho-social processes that are part of decision making and culture. By understanding the psychology and the research processes behind these concepts, candidates of other programs can synthesize all the different branches and see how they are all interconnected.
