[tex]6 = 3(x - 2)[/tex]
Divide both sides by 3,
[tex]2 = x - 2[/tex]
Move terms,
[tex] - x = - 2 - 2[/tex]
Calculate,
[tex] - x = - 4[/tex]
Change the signs,
[tex]x = 4[/tex]
Your answer is D. 4
